Looking For Bread Machine

Does anyone have any good bread recipes that include more whole grains than not?

I'm looking for recipes w/ or w/out a bread machine. I'm debating whether or not to find a way to replace the laddle on my bread machine, that I accidentally threw out.

The wheat bread recipes that I make are horrible. They were very heavy.

I just bought bread machine for $7 at the thrift store today. I found that there are lots of people my moms age (50+) who have them but no one is willing to part! I have been scouting the thrift store for a month now...Family Pathways offers a 7 day return policy if it doesn't work! I am wondering if that would be cheaper than replacing a part?!
