This one is really good too, I do this for special occasions or in summer, the kids LOVE it.
Peanutty Snack Mix
5 cups Honey Nut Cherrios
1 cup Pretzel sticks
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tbl butter or margarine
1 cup raisins
1 cup honey roasted preanuts
1 cup dried banana chips
1 cup cand-coated chocolate candies.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix ceral and pretzels
Heat beanut butter and butter to boiling in saucepan, stirring occasionally, pour over cereal mixture. Toss until evenly coated. Spread in ungreased pan 13x9x2
Bak uncovered for 10 min, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven, stir in raisins and peanuts. Spread over waxed paper, cool completely, about 1hour.
Stir in banana chips and candies. Store in airtight container. Make 9 cups.
I've omitted the banana chips, kids dont' seem like huge fans of those and I sometimes just do semi sweet chocolate mini chips instead of chocolate candies for variation.
