    Space Calculation

I have 6500 square feet total lot size home. My home is a two floor home and the living area is 3700 square feet. I plan to use entire first floor including backyard and side yard. So, how do I calculate my space in MMK?

      Space %

When calculating the business use of your home (your time-space %) you use the square footage of your home, not your lot size. So, use 3,700 square feet. Then look at each room and ask, "Am I using this room on a regular basis for my business?" Regular use means 2-3 times per week. Divide the square feet of your regular use rooms by the total square feet of your home. Many providers have a space % of 100%. Then multiply your space % by your time % to get your time-space %.
