I was approved for unemployment and when I was filling out the form to certify for a certain pay period it asks if I received any income for that week and if I had any expenses. What exactly qualifies for expenses? Or would I leave that blank? I don’t have any employees and my daycare is in my home.

Expenses can include: food, supplies, a portion of utilities, and anything else purchased that you used in your business.
