    Receipts to Parents

So my understanding from one of the posts is we aren't legally obligated to give the parents any of yearly info unless they give us a W10.

My question is do we have to give parents a receipt each time they pay so they have them for their records? I only give a receipt to those who need it for the work reimbursement program. I usually just input all the info into the accounting program (now its KK) and then give a print out at the end of the year.

No you don’t need to give them a receipt for payments. They can track it themselves if it’s important to them. I give a year end receipt as a courtesy but you don’t have to do this and only need to if they provide a W-10.
