Tom,

Tax question. Can I write a check from my business account to a parent who is no longer here and call it "reimbursement"?

I want to give more than the $25 allowed "gift" to a family who lost a child. I know it sounds tacky but how deductible would this be?

Please folks, don't judge me. I can't afford much, but my business can pitch in some too.
