Tom - Question About Hiring My Kids for Daycare

Hi Tom, I paid my kids some money last year for helping with the daycare. Reading to the kids, vacuuming the playroom
(which is a 100% daycare room) rearranging toys, etc. what paperwork or forms if any, do I need to send to the IRS? And by when does it need to be in by if I have to? Thanks.

If your children were under age 18 then there are no payroll taxes to be paid. If they earned less than $6,300 they don't need to file a tax return. You should check with your state workers compensation office to see if you should be purchasing workers compensation insurance for them.
