Writing off an alarm system

Does anyone know, if you get an alarm system for your house, ADT, or something, can you write off the monthly fees on your taxes?

I think it depends on several things. Do you use it during daycare hours? IF so you may be able to do it on your time space.

Yes, this would be considered an "ordinary and necessary" expense for your business. Use your time-space % for the monthly fee.
