I had to have a large tree cut down due to it being hazardous, the location was right by our playground. Can that be claimed? My tax lady told me no, but I just found out she also has not ever done taxes pertaining to a daycare. I'm a nervous wreck now !

Deduct the time-space % of this as a maintenance expense on Form 8829. It is "ordinary and necessary" for you to maintain a safe outdoor space for children.
