    Inventory Keeper Question

I just received the Inventory Keeper book and as I'm going through the list there is a lot of stuff I know that I never claimed such as a bed that I purchased for the daycare room about 6 maybe 7 years ago, can I still deduct that? Plus what do I do with stuff I know I have claimed? Leave it blank in the book? Some stuff I'm not sure if I claimed such as our kitchen table, what do I do with stuff like that. Silverware and such we've had for years but never knew I could still claim it when I started daycare 15 years ago. What do I do with stuff like this?

Can you share your answer please!! I have never taken inventory. This is my first full year open. Last year was only 4 months and I didn't know much about taxes.

You can depreciate all items you owned before your went into business that you later use in your business. The Inventory-Keeper identifies many typical items you might have in each room of your home.
