    Paying my children...

My oldest dd is 11 and my niece is 14. They both would like to help out within the daycare and earn money. 1st question is this allowed and how do I legally pay and document this on my taxes. They will not under any circumstances be left alone with my dck's. As of right now they help with setting up activities in different centers for the dck's, reading stories at nap time, helping out with music and movement time, helping sanitize naps, toys, daycare laundry and playing games with us during outside time. They are eager to help and are not forced to do anything. They choose when and what they would like to assist with. What is the legal age that you can hire your children to help out, what duties can they do, how many hours can they work, and what is a reasonable pay for them? Thanks in advance ladies
