Do you need to have special insurance on your business if you are just taking the kiddos out for walks in the neighborhood?

Its getting to the point we might as well stay in the house all day at this rate!

You want to be sure you are covered if a child is ever injured in your care. That includes when you are not in your home with the children. Most homeowners policies will not cover for any business injuries. Some homeowners policies have a daycare rider to cover for injuries, but many of these riders do not cover you when you are away from your home

It's best to get a professional business liability insurance policy that will cover you when you are away from home. Ask your insurance agent whether your policy covers you in this situation.
