Can I Claim Gas Milage For My Own Child?

I would think NO would be the answer - but it can't hurt to ask right? LOL

My dd is 4 years old. Because she is here all day I cannot have 6 full time kids. SHE COUNTS as one of my daycare kids.

So every day I drive her to and from preschool. If she is one of my daycare kids - shouldn't I be able to claim that gas milage? Or am I reaching? LOL

Nope, you can't claim for your own child. They take a slot but you can't claim food or transport. If a DCK went too then you could claim it.
