Hi Tom, In 2013, I had my daycare kids make packages for soldiers deployed. We sent things weekly. Where and what can I label this as, is it an expense? We sent a box (shipping 12.35 a week) plus dollar store stuff and cards to soldiers that didn't receive mail.

I would claim this as an activity expense (line 27a) on Schedule C.
