Hubby Filed Taxes Already Without Putting Down My Income..Help!

I only made about $300 during the last few months. Hubby was trying to be helpful and filed taxes already. Did not put any of my school info down nor I did he include the money made. I am freaking out - I can still have this fixed, right? We just file married/jointly and are not licensed since we barely have any clients and I had just planned on entering the little bit of money I made on our tax form. Now I am freaking out because I don't want to get into any trouble over this. Ugh!

(and I can't figure out my password at the moment, sorry)

I am definitely not an expert but I don't think you have to worry. As far as I know, you can always file an amended return even years later. I doubt $300 would matter much anyway as far as more owed or a refund.

Someone else will come along soon that knows something I'm sure.

    No need to freak.

Ah ok, thanks for the note.

I finally got him off his rear to go into the tax office (LOL) and that's what they said too. Just to wait and file the amended return. He was laughing at me too over being ridiculous over a small amount of money, but I swear Murphy's Law only applies to me sometimes, haha.

You will be fine when you amend your return. Don't lose any sleep over it. Everyone (including husbands) make mistakes.
