    After Hours Question

When entering my time after hours can I include time spent updating the local Daycare association website? This is not 100% for my daycare since other daycare's use it but my daycare is listed and it's daycare related. Do I get to claim time for that since I do it in my house/daycare space?

I currently do. Im on the board of mine and I update their info on there in exchange for not having to pay a membership and for advertising etc. One of the impressive things that potential clients like to hear is that I'm active in our local family child care association which is a big reason why i do it so I claim that time as long as I'm doing it at home. I think Tom says something about it in his record keeping book also.

I would count all of these hours because your work for your association benefits the family child care field as well as your business.
