Too late for a TIN? Advice Please!

I received my license in 2012, and opened my family child care home right after the beginning of the year in 2013. I decided to close recently, but I have yet to apply for a TIN. Is it too late now that I am closed and have already provided the care/received the income from the families that will be claiming the payments on their taxes next year?

It's not too late to get your Employer Identification Number. Go to www.irs.gov and search for "Online EIN." Give this number to parents, rather than your Social Security number.
