How to Claim Own Child Tuition for Help

My daughter is 19 years old. Instead of paying her directly I paid her college tuition. I still claim her on 1040 but not sure how to claim this deduction on taxes? Does the expense go on Schedule C. I did receive T form from her school. Please advise. Thank you!

You can't deduct any college expenses for your own child as a business expense on Schedule C. You are eligible to claim a federal tax credit:http://www.irs.gov/uac/American-Opportunity-Tax-Credit
