Does anyone know what the estimated time frame for refunds should be? I know the shutdown has been "ended", but will all this mess still delay the refunds?

Originally they said that taxes were still due (for the extension) on time, but that refunds would not be processed due to the shutdown (yeah, I guess we have fines and penalties, but not the IRS?! :confused: ) Anyway, I wonder if they will get back to timely refunds now, or it will still be delayed? Hoping Tom might know

The IRS has not yet announced anything about delays in processing refunds, but I assume there will be delays.
