    Roof Replacement

    Where do I put the supply and/or material costs for a new roof on my daycare house? (I don't live in my daycare house)

    Also can I deduct my DH's labor/time for replacing the roof?

      Add all the costs associated with the new roof and depreciate 100% of this over 39 years. Your husband's time doesn't count for anything, because you are already able to deduct 100% of the costs associated with the house you don't live in.
