This is my 3rd year of daycare, I owe money to the IRS per my tax preparer. My question is should I look into filing married but separate instead of joint? Obviously my husband's withholdings from 2 jobs and my withholdings from my evening part time job still aren't enough to cover our taxes 
I'm so upset about having to owe this year I'm still trying to make sure I got every little thing I could.
How do you other providers file?
Would it help if he filed by himself and got a refund, then I could use that towards what I owe in a bigger lump sum than making payments?
I don't have the money needed to pay what I owe so I will have to set up a payment plan and around here even with all my spots full I am still barely making it, adding another bill to our pile addressed to the IRS
