Any Tax Forms You're Willing To Share?!

It's my first year, and I literally JUST got my tax books (I jumped when I saw the delivery guy at my door- wasn't expecting anyone!) I haven't gotten the Inventory book, though. Does anyone happen to have any checklists of depreciation items they use for themselves? Or any other tax documents you've created that might help? I am going to go read these books I got tonight, and I think I am going to try doing my own taxes this year ( ) so anything you experienced providers may have that you'd be willing to share would be AWESOME! TIA

I didn't have any special forms or anything that helped other than Tom's Tax workbook/organizer book. Made life so much easier!

Plus there is a wealth of knowledge to be found here, I was constantly searching old post and posting new questions til I got mine done.

        Do you use MMK?

I filed my own business taxes for the first time this year (had them done by a pro last year). I used Turbo Tax and Tom books...it was super easy to follow. Got my refund back in 7 days! sooner then expected. I suggest if you do them yourself to use Turbo Tax (easiest I found) I tried Taxact also...was not user friendly.

If your not at all familiar with doing taxes...then I suggest you use the cd/down load version...it gives you the option to view in (forms mode) and (step by step). So if your using Tom books...which guides you line by line...you will be able to verify YOU are putting the right numbers in the write place.

PM me if you need help...happy to help.

        Good Luck....you can do it!

If you also received Tom's "Record Keeping Guide" there is a list in there to get you started. Good Luck!
