    Writing off Magazines?

I am new to the business, actually still going through the licensing process... and I am curious, can I write off Magazine subscriptions if I put them in my reading corner? You know, like ranger rick or ladybug or whatever the kid magazines are....

I have a child in my care right now, who is 4, and she loves to "read" and I wasnt sure if it would be worthwhile....

    TIA!!

    Magazines

Yes, you are entitled to deduct all "ordinary and necessary" expenses for your business. Children's magazines that children read, or you read to them would be deductible. If your own children read them when daycare children are not present in your home, use your time-space %.
