Start Up Date: Day Of License, Or Day Kids Came?

Should I count my starting day as the day I got my license, or the day I first started watching children?

I had calculated everything using the day I got my license, then I realized that lowered my time percentage because I wasn't watching kids for the first month after I got licensed.

Start when you first began caring for children. Then claim house expenses after this date.
