Hours Worked w/o Kids Q

Can I count the time I spent mowing our backyard (that I use just for the DC) in my hours worked when no DCK? I know yards can't be counted in the space calculation as well as time spend outside the home (like shopping) but I'm wondering if this counts since its still on the property

We have two backyard areas; one is our main backyard where were do all our family stuff (like where my DD plays and where our table/BBQ are) but then we have another area behind that (separated by a gate and large 8ft bushes) that is a large open field area. This is where all the bigger DC toys are and the main area where we play outside. We don't use this area normally and I only mow it to be able to use for DC, I wouldn't do it if I didn't have the DC.

If the area you are mowing is used 100% for your business, count 100% of your time. If you use it 90% for your business, count 90% of your time. Normally, a provider would not count any mowing time. But, in your case you have a separate area for daycare so you can. Take pictures of all areas of your backyard so we can see that your daycare area is separate.
