I bought a entry door and paid for it then hired a guy to install. I placed the door in home improvement where do I place the labor? I went to home improvement and it asked date put in service. should I add the two number together and put in same spot?

I'd claim this as a repair/maintenace, rather than a home improvement. Include the cost of labor with the cost of the door.
