Do home daycare providers have to pay employees who work 30 hours or more a week health benefits???

I have an employee who works 8-2:30 without a break (she gets a break, but not unpaid, we have an agreement since we works over five hours a day). That is 32.5 hours a week.

I have a second employee who will start training to work 2:30-5:30 so I'm wondering if I need to bump her up some and have her some at 2 pm and let the other girl be done at 2 so she maxs out at 30 hours a week?

My understanding is the requirement only applies to businesses with 50 or more employees.

The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) only requires employers in 2014 to offer health insurance to their employees, or pay a fine, if they have 50 or more full time employees.
