    Daily Record Keeping

Should I be keeping daily records of...

    time children come and go?
    meals?

Currently I have a monthly spreadsheet (set up like a calendar) that shows days attended by each child. I also have a monthly spreadsheet that shows each child and how many meals (snack, lunch, supper...) they received a month. I keep a monthly calendar of what meals I served. Should these be more specific?

    Records

It's a good idea, but not required, to keep track of when children arrive and leave, so you can accurately count the hours you are using your home for your business.

You don't need to be more specific with your meal records. Since you have a monthly tally of how many different meals and snacks each child ate, you are in great shape.
