    Claiming Meals for Foster Children

I have a sibling group of foster children. I get reimbursed through the food program for their meals as long as there is a day care child present. Is the same true at tax time? Can I claim meals and snacks served to them as long as another child was present?

I assume you are only getting reimbursed for your foster children because your family is low income. If so, then the amount of reimbursements you receive for your foster children is not taxable income and the amount of food they eat is not a tax deduction.
