    Calculating T/S% for Summers Off

I care for only teachers children. This means that during the Summer there is a period of approximately 9 weeks in which I do not have any children. Since I have no children during this time can I decrease the total number of hours my house is available or must I still use 8,760?

If you did decrease the total number of hours in the year, you would then not claim house expenses for those 9 weeks. I recommend not decreasing the total number of hours, so you can count 12 months of expenses.
