100% Bonus Depreciation...

is it best to use the 100% bonus depreciation on items this year? is this something that is new and will continue in the coming years? i've been trying to do searches on here to find out more about it, but i'm only getting a few posts and most of them are just mentioning it, not really explaining it. where can i find out more info?
