Time For Cleaning

Are we allowed one hour of clean time or more for tax purposes. I do know that it has to be when the children aren't here but didn't remember if there is a limit. Sometimes it can take more than an hour to do everything!

Also, is there a limit to the prep time we have-setting up toys, curriculum planning, things like that?

Cleaning time

There is no limit on how much time you can claim for cleaning, activity preparation, etc. Certainly, not an hour limit. Keeping careful records of these hours you work when children are not present is the most significant way you can reduce your taxes each year.
