Hiring Your Minor Child(Ren)

Hello,

Question, does anyone currently pay their kids to work in the home daycare?

1). What rate do you pay e.g. per-hour/per-week?

2.) What duties do you assign?

3.) How do you pay cash/check/bank transfer?

I have two kids I will hire ages 8 & 11...Thanks for any advice!

My children get an alowence based on the work they do. they have assigned jobs and an asigned amount of work. While it is house cleanning some of it would not need to be done as often as it is if it was not for the day care.

I pay them cash on sunday for the work they did Sunday - saturday.
We have chart we keep track of the work on. This has been the system for about 6 weeks now and it is working for us. The children choose the amount they whanted to get paid and the chores they whanted to do and we discussed what would be fair from there to detrimine the compleete list.
