Hello. I am a first time provider doing taxes. I am an owner but have another job. Do I need to complete a W2 for myself or not? Which is beneficial?

W2
Since you are self-employed, you do not file a W-2 for yourself. You would only file a W-2 if you had employees (the W-2 would be for them) or if you were incorporated and were an employee of your own corporation.
Instead, report all your income on Schedule C, along with your business expenses. You will pay social security taxes on your profit (using Form 1040SE Self-Employment Tax) and income taxes on Form 1040.- Flag
