So with the new year approaching the first thing i naturally think of is crafts for the winter season. What kind of things can i have the kids make for their moms in the upcoming months.

are you thinking about Valentine/Mother's day gifts? or just anything winter season appropriate that you know mom would love to have?

for holidays I always make sure the kids recognized both parents or anyone they want to. Some kids don't have dads or moms and are raised by the grandparents or other family members.

I stand clear of the I love you mom/dad stuff this way we all can make a great project together.

Depending on your ages I have always done the hand-prints on the wall poem along with the childs hand-prints.

we put these on some glass plates last year that I bought at the dollar tree. They came out fantastic.

They take about a week to get done from start to finish with about 30 working minutes daily...

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls
But everyday I'm growing big
And soon I'll be very tall
Then all my little hand prints
Will be hard to recall
So here's a special hand print
Just so that you can say
this is how my fingers looked
when I placed them here today.
