Our provider has requested payment for Thanksgiving - 22/23 of last month. I would not have questioned this since our agreement states that this is a paid holiday. However, our provider closed as of the friday before Thanksgiving and left for vacation overseas and only just reopened today. Our agreement states that no payment is due when provider closes for vacation or illness. So this situation is unusual in that she was closed without pay over a paid holiday....we like our provider, but I personally feel that since she chose to take vacation over a paid holiday, I should not have to pay.
