Let me start by saying I absolutely would move my kids, but I can't, all the daycares have waiting lists, and i only have 3 weeks of school left.
My current daycare has 3 locations, one is shut down because an employee taped a baby to the floor.
They have recently taken over my daycare, and it has gone down hill. I show up and my baby hasn't been fed. He'll have dry poop on his onesie and a full diaper of it too. They are regularly over ration, but I never had the sense to document the time and date for this stuff. Now there is a serious parking issue. It is limited because after 5 a local dance studio takes the daycares back spots. The traffic is so bad, cars are double parking, blocking ppl in, there are lines to back out and to park. adults are having to wait by their cars before they can even venture into the building before they can even get their kids! It is a huge safety concern of mine. I brought it to the director's attention, the spots in the back are free all day, just have staff park all of 5-6 spots further away, then you have those spots open for parents, not traffic, no lines to park, no fear of a kid getting loose and being run over by a parent hurrying to back out so another can take her spot. I brought it up to the director she is like "well I have kids too, what about MY kids?" she totally blew me off. I try to contact the owner constantly, but she will never call and she's never there. I'm not suprised the other center got away with taping down kids, and restraining their arms behind their back, they have no supervision. Should I report this daycare or not? If I do what will happen? I am most upset by the fact that anything can go on here, and there is no way of reaching a higher authority to get it straightened out.
