I am out of practice with the little and how soon I found myself forgetting simple things..
I started a DCB age 16months. This boy can put down some food. He is very chunky and probably weights about 28-32lbs.
Question is how much is too much? Today I fed him 1 full bowl cup of oatmeal, 1/2 cup blueberries, and 1 egg. He sat in the high chair and screamed for more. So I gave him more. He at another bowl of oatmeal and some chopped apples. He was screaming for more, but I did not give him anymore as this was way more than the amount of food that I give the 3-4 year olds and is suggested by the Food Program. Also, the boy is not consuming hardly any milk and I feel this is why he is so hungry.
I don't want to conrtibute to this child growing up over wieght or unhealthy, but i also dont want to deprive them of food if they really are hungry...
