It has helpful advice and coupons were available. I just called Target here and they have a 13 pack for 9.49 or the largest pack is a 36 pack for 19.99. I would tell the parents they should schedule an appointment with the dr. just so they get the most up-to-date information and are reassured it's normal. My older sister wet the bed until she entered middle school......she never had sleep overs! You could tell them they should wake their son during the middle of the night to go the bathroom as that might help. Of course, limiting how much they drink before bed. Ex. drink a glass at dinner at 5/6 and if they're still thirty they can have half a glass of water later. Trial and Error, goal is to help the child cope and not be embarassed.
My nephew suffers from this. Thank you for posting this info!

My son is 5.5 and still wets the bed too. My hubby did it until he was 12, and my niece is 19 and still wets the bed aswell.
May be genetic aswell, but I have had to find alot of patience with my son and reassure him that it's ok.

Most importantly my hubby says DO NOT GET ANGRY ABOUT IT.

My son is 8 1/2 he sometimes still wets the bed. He uses the Goodnights boxers. He doesn't like them much...he thinks of them as diapers but it protects his mattress. He has a waterproof protector on it already but it saves from washing the sheets and blankets. He hasn't peed the bed in a while. He has adhd so it could be from that but I make sure his last drink is 7pm..with him in bed around 8-8:30pm. I've mentioned to the doctor which I think this little guys parents should at least mention to there pediatrician. What they do for them selves as far as what they place on him at night would be up to them but for you I would tell them that he needs to be in a pull up or goodnights until he is accident free 2 wks. I take all my little ones to the rest room before naps. There have been times where they will have a pull up at nap bc of accidents but after 2 wks there back in the undies bc of no accidents. Just put him in one away from the kids so they don't know. Advise the parents what your policy is in your home and stick to it.

We used something similar to this for my youngest daughter when she was 9 or 10. It really worked. That was over $20 yrs ago and we paid about $50 for it.

Wetting the bed is not something a child can help. It is a physical milestone that some kids meet later than others. It is also genetics. If one (or both) of the parents was a bed wetter, the child likely will be as well.
