    Wipes

    Anyone else hate Pampers wipes?

They are flimsy (don't really wipe oof anything) and they feel slimy to me.

I really like Huggies and even Parents Choice.

Can I request a certain brand? Do I need to start providing them myself?

I totally agree with you! Slimy. Slimy. Slimy. I don't know how they keep selling these things. Ew!

I always use Aldi's brand and actually prefer them over Huggies (my 2nd choice). Never had a child have a reaction to them ever. Plus they're cheap!

I like unscented parents choice, and actually all my parents bring that! They all have a wipe container and once a month each family brings a big bag of wipes and i refill each one as needed. Its nice because then I can share, no allergies and they actually WORK!

All you can do is ask.

I prefer the Simply Right (Sam's Club brand). They're hypoallergenic, fragrance, and latex free.

I hate the ones that just smear everything.

I just finally started buying them. It is not a huge expense, it is a write off, and I don't have to worry about who's are who's! I use wipes a LOT - for hands and faces, so it was just easier for me! But I think lilrugrats plan is a good solution, too, if you don't want to buy your own!

I'm with you! I hate Pampers wipes. Slimy and smeary (if that's a word, !)

I buy my own wipes and have always bought Huggies brand. I recently tried the Sam's Club brand in order to save a little $$ and they aren't too bad! I'll have to give Parents Choice a try

LOVE the Target wipes. I buy unscented. I ask parents to bring a new package every time they bring a new pack of diapers but I also buy to supplement because we use them for EVERYTHING.

Parent's Choice! I've tried the other wipes and I think they stink and they're too slimy. It makes diaper changing even more gross.

YES! I only have one child that uses them and he seems to go through wipes alot faster then the rest. I'm probably using way more.

I hate Pampers wipes!! I started supplying the wipes myself a few years ago and one of the reasons was because I wanted to use Huggies. I do like Target wipes too - but since I can get some good deal on amazon I generally stick with the Huggies.

Supplying the wipes really wasn't a huge expense for me (figured it out to .03 a wipe - so less than $2/week). I hated parents questioning how quickly I went thru them when I asked for a new pack. I didn't want to feel guilty for using them to wipe hands, noses, etc. and/or using them on a potty trained child who no longer brought their own.
