We have regular light weight china plates and silverware. Ikea plastic cups. I think it's good for kids to learn how to eat from "real" dishes.

I do both. I also have the sectioned plates from Walmart. Sometimes I use paper plates that get recycled.

Sometimes I get just darn lazy and grab paper plates, depending on what we're having. Otherwise, I use these smallish lunch plates I bought from Rite Aid many years ago, different designs on them. I think they were a buck a piece at the time but they're the perfect size.

Depends what we're eating, ikea plates or bowls are great, I do use napkins or small paper plates for sandwiches or afternoon snack. All recycled after. just sometimes a little break from all the dishes, even with a dishwasher.

I use plastic, but not disposable. My conscience won't let me. Love the Ikea stuff.
