I think it sounds like she's taking it fine. You really just want to watch the wet diapers. That's the key with breastfed babies. About 8 good wet diapers in a 24 hour period is healthy. 6 is on the low end, 12 is the high end. So don't worry so much about measuring the oz going in. 1oz per every hour is normal. So it sounds like you are on the right track!

My son is 5 months old now, but at 3 months he was doing 4 ounces every 2-3 hours. That's how all of the babies in my care have ever been. My 5 month old now does 8 ounces every 4 hours. Seems like a lot, but doctor said it was fine, too bad though that he's on Neocate formula which costs a fortune. . I also have a 4 month old that does 5 ounces every 3 hours.Comment
