Fire Evacuation Plan??

I want to write up a fire evacuation plan to have in my handbook, and to post up by the exits of my home, but I have no idea how to start.

Does anyone know of any websites I can look at to see an outline, or if anyone has a plan they can share that would help as well.

I used a website called smartdraw.com. I was able to draw up a floorplan of my house with arrows markign the evac plan. It was SUPER easy!! It was a free trial so it does have a watermark that says FREE TRIAL in the corner. The Sate has been here and complemented me on it so I am happy I didn't pay anything for it to get the watermark off.

We have been practicing fire drills for over a month know every other day. I made my own floor plan of my house and used red arrows to show the way out. I taught the kids to read the plan and then asked them to show me how to follow it.

I did not use a program, I just used graph paper and then scanned it to my computer to make it more professional looking.
