How do you handle siblings who argue constantly over everything? I feel like I'm losing my mind. They are 8 & 9. Thanks for any input.

If they are fighting, I separate them. Play in different areas if the playroom. If they fight at the lunch table: they can eat in separate shifts.
I tell siblings 2 things on day 1:
#1) I do not take sides and if they get physical in their fighting "I will tell mom & dad on them"
!
(siblings have established family dynamics at home which often includes how disputes are played out... getting mom or dad to take sides - they can do that at home, I make it clear I will not tolerate fighting.)
#2) if you are fighting that tells me you need time away from eachother and I will make sure you get that. -
I'm going through a bit of this with my nearly 4 and nearly 6 year old since my daycare is closed temporarily and they are spending so much time together. I tell them "oh no! It must be nap time!" Works every time ::
