    I Find This Very Funny

My DS does the strangest thing.

When he starts to wake up he will all of a sudden be talking out loud, like he is finishing off a dream verbally. It's so random and disconnected. I really struggle not to giggle at it.

He just started waking up from nap and I have NO idea what he is trying to say but he starts talking loudly and said DCGs name a few times in his monologue , which made her sleepily say "What?" before she fell back asleep.

How old is DS? I have two kids here that do the same thing! They are both 4. Dcb will talk so loud he will wake other kids from nap, and he has no idea what he is saying. My ds will sometimes talk, but usually he giggles! Just lies there laughing hysterically, and sometimes he is not even awake.

    So funny!

that is funny!! I love the things kids do when they are just waking up or sleepy!!

I will share a story about my dd. When she was about 14 she was a bit of a sleepwalker (sometimes still is) but my DH and I were in the living room watching the telly when my DD comes walking through right past us into the kitchen. I ask her what she is doing and she does not respond, she just starts randomly opening and closing all the kitchen cupboards. It is like she is looking for something. We figure out after a few minutes that she is sleeping still. So I go over to her and guide her back to her room. When she gets there she lies down on her bed and I start back to the living room. I pause, b/c I hear her again so I go back to see what she is doing and she is sitting on the edge of her bed taking shirts off her pile of folded clean laundry that is sitting on her floor and putting them on one after another. When she gets to the bottom of the pile she lays back down and goes to sleep. End of evening.

The next morning, she comes to the breakfast table and sits down. She says it was sohot in her room last night that she had trouble sleeping...I say "maybe it is all the clothes you have on..." She looks down and sees that she is wearing like 12 t-shirts!! ...::::

my baby wakes up yelling "DA DA OUUUUUUUUUT" and when I go in there he points at me and says "NUH. DA DA!" So I have to call in DH and the little booger starts jumping up and down waving "HI DA DA, HI!"

he is very clear on who he prefers!

oh no, it's "mum mum UCK" when he needs a diaper, which is why he's starting potty training at 14 months...if he's old enough to know that diapers are "uck" he is old enough to leave his uck in the potty!

When my DD was about 3, she would go potty and sing song......Daaaaaaaaaaaddddyyyyyy, come wipe my bottom! Very loudly. Daddy would grudgingly go do it. I ask her one time, why do you call him....

She said...."because he gets me cleaner" It took all I had to not laugh right at her. Needless to say, he was VERY happen when she learned to wipe herself!::
