    Last Minute Question

I am giving my closing daycare notice letter to the parents tomorrow. One set of parents are divorced and takes turns picking up and dropping off the kids. I initially wanted to give it to the mother tomorrow (Friday) when she picked up the kids but now the father is picking them up. I prefer to give it to the mother because I feel she would be more understanding. So how should I do that? Can I just give it to her when she drops them off in the morning? Or just give it to the father when he picks up?
    P. S. I haven't even mentioned to them about closing yet. I was going to announce it when I handed them the letter.
    TIA.

I'd give one to each of them. Her at drop off and him at pick up.

ITA. Since they're divorced I'd give it to them separately.

I think it would be nice for notices to be given separately - one to mom at drop off and dad at pick up.

Just give out two notices. Also don't feel bad about needing time off.
