I'm trying to decide if I should hire an assistant at some point and take on more children. I'm currently limited to five. I just feel like I am turning people away left and right...the potential for more business is definitely there. There is a lot to consider though. I like my small group and I think it is a draw for parents too. I am just thinking it over because we are adding on to our home this spring (putting on a separate room for child care), so it's actually a possibility for next year if I chose to do so. I guess I'm looking for input as to your own experiences with having a helper/assistant...how it worked out, how much you paid them (min. wage? more?)
