Thanks guys. I'm glad I'm not alone in having to deal with someone like this. Pick up and drop off are usually very quick; he rarely asks much beyond whether dcg napped well and for how long. He does take forEVER to get her coat and shoes and stuff on, but I am usually moving around taking care of DD, starting to clean up, etc while he leaves. The few times that the conversations get longer are the ones where I have more information to give. I have to wonder if they've had some bad daycare experiences in the past that makes him so....passively hostile. Yes, that's a good description of how he acts, or at least, how he comes off.

Ahhh, I feel better after venting about him anyway.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

I feel your pain. funny that you posted this today, becuase last night I was thinking about posting about the issue I have.

I also have a dcd that I can’t stand. I have a multi-racial family and he is very racists. He makes unnecessary comments all the time, trys to talk politics with me and when anything goes down at DC it’s always my fault.

I actually told him that I don’t want to talk to him about anything other than his child. My husband leaves the room when he walks in the door. This guy has no ability to think before he speaks... It’s like word vomit...
