WTH is going on????
All day has been complete nuts at my house. 2 of my kids were super late this morning, they interrupted class, and I could not get the class back under control so we decided to ditch class and move on to art. That was a disaster... Long story short all day has been a disaster.
All of the kids today were practically falling on their faces. One feel asleep in the high chair, another fell asleep in reflection time (was not even there for 2 min) . It seems like none of the kids got sleep last night and today I am having to pay for it. It actually seems like this has been going on for about a week or so. Tons of behavior issues, which is not the norm for my group.
I thought about sending a letter home asking the parents to take into consideration how busy we are here and that I plan lessons for them to learn, but if they don’t get adequate amount of sleep the ability for them to learn just goes down the drain. Also something about how much it affects their moods and behavior when they don’t get enough rest as well?????
Of course, I don’t expect for the parents to plan their nights to benefit me, but to benefit their child. I know that one parent said that they went to the movies last night with the kids until 11:00PM… Who does that on a week night????
Anyways, would any of you mention something to the parents about this?? Or should I just let it go?
