Ending Care for School Age Kids

I've got a dcb that will start school next Fall. He doesn't come here in the Summer so I need to figure out the proper time to end care and what to say. I can't take up a full-time spot for an hour of care after school, and I don't think they want to pay for a full day. Any suggestions on how to approach this?

I would put the ball in their court and just say "Beginning June 1, 2017 ALL spaces will be charge at the full time rate. This includes school age children both during summer months and during the school year. No exceptions."

Let them decide what they want to do.
